HOW WE BUILD
COACHBUILT
BY HAND AT THE GECKO

Every Wiesmann is hand-crafted in our state-of-the-art factory in Dülmen, in Westphalia - an area long known for its car-making prowess. Nicknamed the Gecko and shaped like the emblem that represents our brand, Wiesmann HQ is no ordinary factory. It is home to our skilled craftspeople and engineers many of whom bring an entire lifetime of experience to the creation of our one-of-a-kind cars and it houses both the factory floor and the marque's showroom. More than a factory, it is both symbol and home: its showroom, its design and engineering departments, and its research and development atelier are the envy of the motoring world. It is a place of real soul.
One of Europe's last remaining independent sports car producers, Wiesmann has always integrated traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge manufacturing technology. The long bonnet, the hand-shaped curves, the silhoutette that seems to defy physics these are not stamped from a press. They are shaped by hand, in the tradition of the world's great coachbuilders. Each model that leaves our factory marries unparalleled German engineering with British style and your own unique taste, to create a car that is exclusively yours.
Every Wiesmann is built to order, in direct collaboration with its owner, down to the smallest detail of material, trim and finish. In the tradition of the great coachbuilders, we invite each client into the Gecko to shape their car from first sketch to final delivery an ultra-bespoke approach that treats every car as a one-of-one commission rather than a production-line variant. Because each car is shaped by hand and by its owner, no two ever leave the Gecko the same.
BESPOKE — NO TWO EVER THE SAME
THE ART OF COACHBUILDING

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Jasper den Dopper
Few people understand what it takes to protect a low-volume, handcrafted marque quite like Jasper den Dopper. For over a decade he was the central custodian of Spyker through Spyker Enthusiast keeping its owner network, technical archive and service expertise alive long after production ceased. He now brings that same long-view discipline to Wiesmann, leading engineering, service and ownership experience.
FORTIFYING THE MARQUE,
NUT JUST REVIVING IT.

"THIS IS A FABULOUS SPORTS CAR IT LOOKS THE PART, AND
IT'S BEAUTIFULLY MADE. IT'S A 60'S THROWBACK WITH NONE OF THE 60'S DRAWBACKS.".

ROHEEN BERRY
"We are working on something extraordinary, and we can't wait to share it at Pebble Beach this year. It stays honest to what a Wiesmann is: an ultra-bespoke car, built by hand, for owners who want something no one else will ever have. Nobody has done more to protect an independent marque than Jasper has done for Spyker - every Wiesmann should be worth more tomorrow than it is today."

ARRIVES, A NEW MASTERPIECE BEGINS

Between 1993 and 2013, roughly 2,000 Wiesmanns left the workshop each one hand- built, each one a collector's piece. The Roadster MF3 opened the story in 1993, followed by the GT MF4 and Roadster MF4, the GT MF5 and Roadster MF5, and the later GT MF4- S, Spyder and GT MF4-CS many unveiled on the world stage at the Geneva Motor Show and IAA Frankfurt. Throughout, Wiesmann combined German innovation, engineering and design with classic British elegance and style, and never deviated from its founding vision.
